Polk County and Central Florida are beautiful places to live, but at times, severe weather conditions may affect our activities. In case you didn't know, hurricane season runs from June 1-November 30. In the event that a hurricane or other severe weather is expected to impact the Lakeland campus, the University of South Florida Lakeland follows the emergency closing plan set forth by the Tampa Campus.
