USF Lakeland and PCC Host Diversity Leadership Event
LAKELAND,
FL (April 11, 2008) -
The Second Annual Diversity Panel Series presents "Young and Gifted: America's Diverse Leaders Share Their Path to Success" on Wednesday, April 23, at 5:00 p.m. in the Lakeland Technology Building auditorium on the PCC/USF Lakeland campus. Sponsored by USF Lakeland and PCC, the event is free and open to the public.
Addressing the audience will be a national panel of young leaders: Kimberly Green, CEO/president, ADKG Worldwide, Inc., Charlotte, N.C.; Michelle Meyer, director, Office of Community Engagement, Rollins College, Winter Park, Fla.; and Resche Hines, Ph.D., lead researcher, Center for Elementary Mathematics & Science Education, University of Chicago.
According to Dr. Nathan Thomas, USF Lakeland campus diversity officer, "This is a great opportunity for our students and others in the community to network with and learn from young and gifted leaders who have realized success in other arenas."
